Victor Wooten Yin Yang Deluxe Series II
The Victor Wooten Yin Yang Deluxe Series II is based on Victor Wooten’s most played Yin Yang custom, featuring a Walnut body, Yellowheart / Ebony top, and a 3-piece Maple neck with an Ebony fingerboard. Compared to Victor’s first Yin Yang Custom (which features an Alder body with a Birdseye Maple fingerboard), this bass has a punchier and tighter low-end with an articulate top end and compressed midrange. Matched with our Dovetail neck joint, this bass is incredibly fast playing and dynamic for a wide variety of playing styles. The electronics package includes a set of EMG P/J pickups and our proprietary Fodera/Pope Custom 3-band Preamp. The Yin Yang Deluxe Series II was designed with a meticulously chosen set of build specifications and is hand crafted in our Brooklyn shop to ensure that legendary Fodera playability and tone.
Because of the tremendous amount of detail work involved with this model, the Yin Yang Deluxe Series is available exclusively on a direct-order basis (will continue to be limited to six (6) per year.
